Video Interviewing Brings a New Level of Efficiency to Global Hiring, Now in More Countries Than Ever.

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – (Business Wire) December 2, 2009 – HireVue, the leading provider of global video interviewing solutions, today announced that they have now facilitated video interviews for customers in 105 countries including such locations as Papua New Guinea, Chad, Burkina Faso. Ethiopia, Oman, and Brazil. Global companies use HireVue to perform both Live interviews where the candidate interacts with an interviewer and Virtual interviews where the candidate responds to pre-defined questions. Both types can be performed remotely and can be recorded and stored in the proprietary HireVue system for review by hiring managers on their own time and from any location around the globe. Because the only technology required to use HireVue is a webcam and an Internet connected computer HireVue is a cost effective and time saving way for employers to aggregate feedback and other information about candidates around the globe. As a result, global companies are able to make quicker, more efficient hiring decisions without regard to time zones and locations and without spending unnecessary time and money due to travel and interview related coordination and logistics.

"As a global company, Rio Tinto needs to source talent from all over the world," says Andrew Slentz, VP of People for the international mining group. "Innovative solutions like HireVue allow us to quickly place prospective employees in front of hiring managers anywhere in the world - with minimal expense and logistical effort. HireVue offers us great flexibility and a competitive edge in the crucial first stages of candidate interaction and attraction."

HireVue makes it easy for companies to interview globally by handling all of the logistics necessary to ship webcams and branded employment materials to candidates and hiring managers. HireVue will also train users remotely on the equipment and offers customers technical support 24 hours per day, 7 days a week for 365 days each year. Support is provided in as many as 5 languages including French, Spanish and Russian. Additionally, the HireVue interface supports localization so that candidates can comfortably respond to questions in their native language.

"HireVue is experiencing tremendous growth," says Mark Newman, CEO and co-founder of HireVue. "A large part of our growth comes from both companies headquartered overseas as well as US-based companies with worldwide operations. This is not by chance. We've made a significant investment in localization technology and global support because we understand the inherent value of video interviewing for international business. Crossing the 100-country mark is an exciting milestone for HireVue. We look forward with great anticipation to adding many more to the list!"
