Mark Newman, CEO
Mark Newman is CEO and co-founder of HireVue. Since taking over as CEO in mid 2007, the company has quadrupled its customer base and provided services in 100 countries to organizations ranging from executive recruiters to Fortune 50 firms. In addition to growing the company, Mr. Newman has recently led recruiting efforts to build a world-class management team and advisory board. Outside of work he is a Boy Scouts leader and was a "Big" with Big Brothers Big Sisters for three years. He has been quoted in USA Today, the New York Post, Workforce Management, and many other human capital publications. Mr. Newman holds a BA in International Business from Westminster College and a MS in Finance from the University of Utah.
Chip Luman, COO
Chip Luman joined HireVue at the beginning of 2009 as the COO after serving on the advisory board since 2006. Mr. Luman is a senior executive with 20 years of HR and general management experience. He joins HireVue from Charles Schwab & Co. where he was SVP HR Shared Services and Total Rewards. During Schwab's corporate turnaround in 2004 he led the reorganization of the HR function which included developing and implementing a shared services model that introduced SaaS technology. Prior to Schwab he worked for Acclaim Entertainment, Pepsi Cola and Marathon Oil. He currently serves on HireVue's board, the advisory board of IQNavigator, Inc., and is a Trustee of the Pi Lambda Phi Educational Foundation. Mr. Luman holds a BA in Labor Studies from The Pennsylvania State University with minors in Spanish and Business and pursued graduate studies in Business Administration at the University of Louisiana, Lafayette.
Scott Fowle, VP of Sales
Scott Fowle joined HireVue in April 2009 as the VP of Sales and manages our two sales representatives. Mr. Fowle is a 25+ year veteran of selling Human Capital Management and HR solutions and technology. He joins HireVue from SuccessFactors where he was a high producing Regional VP of Sales responsible for increasing revenue 88% over 2006, and 69% over 2007. He also worked for HCM industry leaders such as the Devine Group, Taleo and Careerbuilder. Mr. Fowle holds a BA in Psychology from Trinity International University.
Chris Higbee, VP of Marketing & Product Management
Chris Higbee guides HireVue's brand, product and customer development efforts as Vice President of Marketing & Product Management. Prior to joining HireVue, Mr. Higbee served as President of Kindle Marketing, a provider of outsourced marketing services and as Vice President of Marketing for Two Little Hands Productions. Previous to Kindle, Mr. Higbee served as a Senior Product Manager and Director of Solutions Consulting for HireRight from 2001 to 2007 having helped to pioneer the concept of HR focused SaaS applications and integrations. Before HireRight, Mr. Higbee served in various positions with FranklinCovey, The Generations Network and Reef SA, a provider of content management software for the Internet. Mr. Higbee holds a BFA with honors from Brigham Young University and a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Entrepreneurial Management from Pepperdine University.
Josh Schwede, VP of Business Development
Josh Schwede joined HireVue in April, 2009 as the VP of Business Development. Mr. Schwede has over 12 years of strategic alliance and sales experience in software and business services in both Fortune 500 and small startup companies. He joins HireVue from HireRight where as Director of Business Development he led their Strategic Alliance Program, which consisted of top providers in talent management and business process outsourcing. Prior to joining HireRight, Mr. Schwede served in sales and business development roles with IBM, Centerpost, and Virtual Hold Software. Mr. Schwede holds a BS in Business Administration with a focus on Supply Chain Management from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
